Vital Bridge Services is a HIPAA-compliant Business Associate providing secure medical courier and logistics services for healthcare providers, including hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical offices.
We receive only the minimum Protected Health Information (PHI) necessary to perform delivery and logistics services. We do not create, store, or manage medical records.
PHI may be used only to:
Transport medical specimens, prescriptions, records, or equipment
Support healthcare operations as directed by our client
Perform limited business functions such as billing or compliance
We do not use PHI for marketing or unrelated purposes.
Patients have rights under HIPAA, including access to and correction of medical records through their healthcare provider. All medical record requests should be directed to your provider.
We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI and comply with HIPAA regulations. All staff and contractors receive HIPAA training.
If a breach of unsecured PHI occurs, we will notify the Covered Entity, who is responsible for notifying affected individuals.
